It was a great night for Bombers Baseball on Monday as the 5/6u, 12u and 8u-Ashby teams notched good wins.
The 12U Bombers dusted off the rust after an extended break between their first and second game. Clearly the rest didn’t negatively affect the boys as they responded with a 15-4 victory.
The 5/6u Bombers were solid at the plate on Monday night tallying the maximum 5 runs in each of their 3 innings of play.
The 8u-Ashby Bombers faced their toughest opponent of the early season on Monday and responded in fine Bombers fashion with a 21-12 victory. A balanced attack at the plate and spectacular team defense produced the teams 5th victory of the year.
Tomorrow night (Tuesday) the 8u-Scachitti Bombers will face their toughest game of the year as they face the unbeaten Cyclones (3-0) at Westhoff Field #2 at 6pm.
Go Bombers!
