2016 Bombers Baseball Fees

Parents –

We’ve finalized the costs associated with the 2016 baseball season and have provided a breakdown below.

Uniform Costs:

Beyond the uniform we’ve separated the costs associated with the season into the following categories:

  • League Costs
  • Tournament Costs
  • Practice Costs
  • Team Equipment Costs (Club Fee)

The OCAC is charging $80 per player for the 5/6u and 7u teams and $100 per player for the 8u, 9u and 10u teams.

Each tournament is different, but we’re estimating the average tournament cost to be $275 per tournament.

Practice costs include The Batting Cage Winter Warm Up and our weekly practices at Westhoff Park.  We will begin practicing at Westhoff Park on Sunday afternoon in the 10a – 5pm timeframe beginning Mid-March.  We’ve reserved the field every available Sunday with the exception of Easter and July 5th.  (20 Practices)

Team Equipment Costs involve equipping the boys with helmets, catcher’s gear, baseballs for practice, etc. Realizing we’ll have coaches that overlap and are involved with multiple teams we’re able to save considerably here.

After taking all of the costs into consideration here is the breakdown by division:  (These costs don’t include the league fees due to OCAC with the exception of 10u Comp.)

  • 7u – $123 (7u Green and White Teams)
  • 8u (Rec) – $125 (8u White and Grey Teams)
  • 8u (Comp) – $215 (8u Green Team)
  • 9u – $237 (9u Green Team)
  • 10u (Rec) – $197 (10u White, Grey and Black)
  • 10u (Comp) – $377 (10u Green)

Summary of what’s included by division:  (We didn’t include the fees due to OCAC for those divisions where the individual registers and pay the OCAC direct.)

7u ($123 Total)

  • 10-12 game regular season

  • Practices (60 minutes each available Sunday) ($20)
  • Winter Warm Up ($15)
  • Club Fee for equipment ($30)

(7u teams will consider playing in a tournament, however the tournament cost isn’t currently included in the cost structure)

8u Rec ($123 Total) (White and Grey Teams)

  • 10-12 game regular season
  • Uniform ($58)
  • Practices (60 minutes each available Sunday) ($20)
  • Winter Warm Up ($15)
  • Club Fee for equipment ($30)

We anticipate all 8u teams will play in a few tournaments during the season, but we’ve not included the cost of tournaments for 8u Rec as some families might not take part in all of the tournaments scheduled.  We’ll collect as we go for tournaments entered for 8u White and Grey teams.

8u Comp ($213 Total) (Green Team)

  • OCAC 12 game regular season
  • Triple Play 12 game regular season ($50)
  • Uniform ($58)
  • Practices (60 to 90 minutes each available Sunday) ($20)
  • Winter Warm Up ($15)
  • 2 Tournaments ($40)
  • Club Fee for equipment ($30)

9u ($237 Total)

  • OCAC 12 game regular season
  • Triple Play 12 game regular season ($50)
  • Uniform ($82)
  • Practices (90 minutes each available Sunday) ($20)
  • Winter Warm Up ($15)
  • 2 Tournaments ($40)
  • Club Fee for equipment ($30)

10u Rec ($197 Total)

  • OCAC 12 game regular season
  • Uniform ($82)
  • Practices (90 minutes each available Sunday) ($20)
  • Winter Warm Up ($15)
  • 2 Tournaments ($50)
  • Club Fee for equipment ($30)

10u Comp ($377 Total)

  • OCAC / Chesterfield 12-14 game regular season ($125)
  • Triple Play 12 game regular season – Partial ($25)
  • Uniform ($82)
  • Practices (90 minutes each available Sunday) ($20)
  • Winter Warm Up ($15)
  • 4 to 5 Tournaments ($80)
  • Club Fee for equipment ($30)

11u Green ($232 Total)

  • OCAC Regular Season (You will pay OCAC for this directly)
  • Triple Play 12 game regular season ($50)
  • Uniform ($82)
  • Practices ($20)
  • 2 Tournaments ($50)
  • Club Fee for Equipment ($30)

We register the 10u Comp teams direct with the OCAC and CBSA, so the individuals will pay Bombers for their league fees instead of the respective Association.

(Additional tournaments may be considered and added with parent approval)

SUMMARY

Across the various divisions, our cost per game ranges from $7.10 to $10.94.

PAYMENT PROCESS

Please submit payment by check to – BOMBERS. (Cash is also accepted if that’s easier)

Or, you can also use Paypal.  My address on Paypal is dustin@bombersbasketball.org.  Please reference the players name in the notes when making a payment on Paypal.

If you don’t need a uniform, just deduct that amount from the total fees for your division.  If you are just needing individual uniform pieces and not a full uniform, please pay your season fees separate from your uniform order so we can properly track your gear order.
